Copy DVD movies for playback on iMac on Mac OS X El Capitan

Step One: Run the program and insert the DVD disc you want to convert into your DVD-ROM; click “Load file(s)” icon to import the DVD movies. When the files are loaded, you can select the subtitle and audio track as you like. DVD ISO & DVD folders are also supported here.

Step Two: Select and custom output format. Click “HD Video” > “H. 264 HD Video (*.mp4)” or “MKV HD Video(*mkv)” to get the optimized output file for DVD to VLC conversion. For iPad, you can choose the corresponding models from “iPad” as the output format to generate videos with optimized settings for your certain device.

Tip: If you like, you can click “Settings” to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc.
